They are very good dog, and very wonderful companions. I bet you think I haven't started the draft horses, but I have. I drew them up yesterday, twice, on each side of my 300lb Arches Watercolor paper, I just couldn't get them right. Then I took a nap that lasted about three hours, but when I woke up the second drawing looked correct. Now I just have to get all the harnesses completely drawn in. I have the head gear, and bridles, but not all the details on everything. I'm doing this 22" X 30" so it should be a real challenge. I'm going on 60 so my long days or rearing children, being a bus driver, and having no time to myself are gone. But your time right now was a wonderful time in my life, and you will have plenty of time to yourself when you're older. My mom raised 10 children, and she always said "In your lifetime you can have almost everything you want, but you just can't have it all at the same time." Have a happy evening, and enjoy your beautiful children!...Annie

Are you going to take pictures as you go? It's really interesting to watch the pieces unfold. Yes, this really is a wonderful time with my girls. I am very lucky, I've been blessed with 3 really good girls. I'm afraid they are growing up a bit too fast. They are 14, 16 and my oldest will be 19 next month. Where does the time go? It's nice they still need me, just for different things now ... driving them around etc.
10 children, wow, that's a big family! It must have been nice to always have someone to talk to growing up.

Christine, I visited your site on Flicker. I love the pictures of the baby Mockingbirds and also the pictures of the little boy and his mom with the little red wagon. You captured simple joys and pleasures. The horses in profile pulling the cart is a really good shot too. You compose your photographs very well, and you also capture a great deal of detail and depth. Now I have to watch you! :) I'm still fighting my Pneumonia so I'm not working as fast or as well as normal, but I will keep working and drawing and painting. Keep taking pictures. I like your Flicker site, and I think it's wonderful you can get feedback from pros. The computer age is wonderful. Thank you again for giving me permission to paint from your photos. I will always credit you and send people to your site. Sincerely Annie

Dear Christy Sue thank you for your kind words, and your permission. I just love draft horses. I was almost stepped on by a Clydesdale that was standing with a full team pulling a Budweiser Beer Wagon, and these horses have always impressed me. I'm finishing up some other paintings and drawings of dogs, but I will notify you every step of the way once I get started. I might do it in Adobe Illustrator first, and then sketch it out on a very large peice of Arches 300 lb watercolor paper, and paint it in watecolor. It is a very beautiful picture of Clydesdale/Draft horses. Thank you again....Sincerely...Annie
